As a daughter of a retired
U.S. Air force Colonel I was fortunate enough to be
able to travel from the Learning Tower of Pisa to the
Pyramids of Egypt. In my travels, I was always fascinated
by the different styles and designs. This fascination
led me to become an art major at U.S.M in Hattiesburg,
Mississippi. With each one of my creations, I try to
implement the remembered things from my travels; a medley
of rich fabrics, textures and colors.
I have been dabbling in the art world for years: paining
murals, designing jewelry and making things from clay.
I have been working with clay for 30 years starting
out with bread dough back in twenties. Today, I feel
for the first time in my life that I have found what
makes me happy.
For more information on my work, please feel free to
contact me. I also do commissioned
pieces from 3 to 24 inches in height. Email
for your one of a kind, hand sculptured piece. My specialty
at Christmas time is the largest Santa's.
